PARK CITY, Utah — Making decisions without all the answers is often part of the job for marketers — and this month, the Park City Marketing Club is diving into how to thrive in that uncertainty.
The club’s next event, “Decisions in the Dark: Thriving When You Don’t Have All the Answers,” will be held Monday, July 28, and features John Huntinghouse, Vice President of Marketing at TAB Bank and Utah Business Magazine’s 2022 Marketer of the Year.
Huntinghouse will share practical frameworks for evaluating risk, making small bets, and balancing data with intuition — insights drawn from more than 16 years in B2B and B2C marketing leadership. His talk will explore how marketers can avoid “paralysis by analysis” and confidently move forward even when perfect information isn’t available.
“Great marketers are those who can understand how to take calculated risks,” Huntinghouse says, “but very few have been trained on how to balance analysis, risks, and how to know when enough information is enough.”
The event is part of the club’s ongoing effort to create space for collaboration, professional development, and candid conversation. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions, ideas, and a spirit of curiosity. The club will provide snacks and drinks.
The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. More information and registration is available at parkcitymarketing.club.
As always, the Park City Marketing Club’s sessions are geared toward marketers, entrepreneurs, and business professionals looking to grow together in one of Utah’s most creative mountain communities.
