MINERS9 presents a new batch of local artists

PARK CITY, Utah — A new group of local artists are excited to showcase their work at Miner’s Hospital, 1354 Park Ave. If you are following the art trail on Friday, this venue is right in the middle.
The artists this weekend span the range from jewelry to painting on stone.
Felix Saez has lived in Park City for decades now. He is an artist through and through, living among nature and creating his art by painting and carving on natural stone. He is drawn towards Native American portraiture and wildlife. Saez has earned national recognition for his acrylic paintings, notably his first-place win in the 2024 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival.
Ann-Marie Buckland, Jenny Johansen, Kittie Kibacki, Lyndsie Nash, and Amy Schmidt present paintings in totally different styles. Rounding out the exhibiting artists are Amie Scholfield and Mary Perry. Mary Perry recently presented her art at the Park City library and is a long-time resident of Park City. Her photography covers the range from black and white to vibrant color images.
All artists will be present at the Miner’s Hospital starting at noon on all three days until 7 p.m. every day except Sunday, when the exhibit closes at 4 p.m. On Friday, Dave Hahn will provide live music.
