PARK CITY, Utah – The Willow Creek pickleball courts are getting a fresh new surface, and will be closed for the project beginning June 23. The resurfacing keeps the courts in top shape and helps prevent bigger repairs down the road. Basin Recreation expects the courts will be closed for about one week, depending on weather.
In the meantime, park-goers can enjoy the other 17.5 acres of the park, which includes a a playground, dog park, exercise par course, and multi-use trail system. Pickleballers can also try switching their paddles for tennis racquets, as the tennis courts will remain open.
Tennis court reservations
After a successful pilot program in 2024, Basin Recreation is implementing a reservation system for the Willow Creek Park Tennis Courts to maximize use and help players guarantee court time.
Free reservations will be available in one-hour blocks from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday from May 1 through September 30. Reservations are available seven days in advance. Community members may have up to three, one-hour block reservations per day.
