PARK CITY, Utah — The Miners Hospital Community Center will host some longtime favorite artists and new artists from around the Wasatch community in April. On Friday, April 25, they are debuting their new wandering minstrels, with Wyatt Pike performing from 5 – 7 p.m.
Mediums represented in April range from hand-crafted stained glass over wearable art and adornments to images created using photography, mixed media, collages, and a large range of paint mediums.
The program welcomes Lisa Needham, one of Park City’s newer visual artists, and Mark Maziarz, one of Park City’s well-established photographers. Sundyn Woolf will explain encaustic and alcohol ink art to you, while Anna Nizhoni is well-versed in culturally symbolic images. Brittany Russo and Becky Ruley both draw inspiration from nature. Greg Dunham forges precious metals with dazzling gemstones into stunning original adornments, while Kade L utilizes limited resources to tell his authentic story.
This rare opportunity allows Park City residents and guests to interact with these artists in a real, historic landmark on
Friday, April 25, Friday noon – 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday, April 27, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
MINERS9 provides the artists with an audience of people that can appreciate their talents, skills, and hard work. While supporting the artists’ livelihood, the community has the opportunity to learn from them. The organizers delight in showcasing an underutilized historic gem of our past and connecting with its inhabitants at 1354 Park Avenue in Park City.
