“Ski 'N See has been part of Utah’s ski scene for decades, and we want to continue being a meaningful part of the community,” Bagley said. “We’re grateful for the support from locals and are always looking for ways to give back.” Photo: Ski ‘N See.
PARK CITY, Utah—If you’ve skied in Utah between 1987 and now, you’ve seen Ski ‘N See, a family-owned ski shop with deep roots in Utah’s mountain towns. In the Park City community, it has been in operation for over 20 years. Ski ‘N See prides itself on fostering a family-like work environment. Many employees have been with the company for decades, and some employees even have their kids working for Ski ‘N See.
With 15 locations, Ski ‘N See has grown from a small operation into a well-established retailer offering ski rentals, retail sales, and tuning services. Bryce Bagley, revenue manager for Ski ‘N See, highlights the company’s mission of supporting local business and keeping dollars within the community.
“There are quite a few local ski shops in Park City, but also several national chains and Vail-owned shops,” Bagley said. “We want to encourage people to shop local and understand that we’re committed to building the community, keeping people employed, and ensuring that money stays in Utah.”
Ski ‘N See’s first Park City location opened in 2000 at Park City Mountain Resort’s plaza, where it remains today. The store recently restructured its layout to create a more streamlined experience, dividing rental services from ski storage and returns.
Another longstanding Park City location is inside The Chateaux Deer Valley, where it offers a luxury locker room with heated, secure lockers available for seasonal rental. Bagley noted that the locker program has been particularly successful, selling out this season with a growing waitlist.
“We have some of the most competitive pricing for ski lockers in the area,” Bagley said. “It’s an opportunity for locals to get a dedicated space with convenient access to the slopes.”
A key benefit for shoppers visiting Ski ‘N See at the Chateaux is the parking situation, offering free parking for the first 30 minutes, making it easy for customers to stop in and browse. Additionally, Ski ‘N See provides parking validation for customers who make a purchase, ensuring a hassle-free shopping experience.
Ski ‘N See also operates locations at Hyatt Place Hotel near Canyons Village and Peaks Hotel, which is undergoing a major renovation to expand and improve its retail space.
Currently, Ski ‘N See is running its annual end-of-season sale, offering up to 40% off ski gear and accessories at its Park City locations. The sale includes outerwear, helmets, goggles, gloves, and high-end demo skis at discounted prices.
Additionally, the company operates a robust rental program with a “circle of shops” return policy that allows customers to rent at one location and return at any other. The program includes a 20% discount for reservations made at least 24 hours in advance. For even more savings, use the following link for 25% off a reservation: https://www.
“We’re focused on convenience and affordability,” Bagley said. “We might not always be the lowest price, but we offer added value through flexibility and quality service.”
The company prioritizes community service, hosting an annual volunteer day where employees give back through projects like shelter donations, park clean-ups, and community garden installations.
“Ski ‘N See has been part of Utah’s ski scene for decades, and we want to continue being a meaningful part of the community,” Bagley said. “We’re grateful for the support from locals and are always looking for ways to give back.”
