SR-210 temporarily closed due to downed power lines

LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah—At approximately 10:50 a.m. Unified Fire Authority and Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office reported to Powerhouse Area 6 in Little Cottonwood Canyon to address downed powerlines and wires on the road.

Travel delays and stopped traffic are expected. Traffic is closed in both directions of SR 210. Rocky Mountain Power has been notified and is on the scene.

The cause of the downed powerlines is possibly due to high winds, but that is not confirmed.
