Heber’s Skijoring klicks off this weekend

HEBER CITY, Utah – SkiJoring Utah is set to thrill spectators once again as it comes to Heber on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Wasatch County Rodeo Grounds.

The high-adrenaline event features skiers and snowboarders racing through a snow-covered course while being towed by a horse and rider at speeds of up to 40 mph. Competitors will navigate jumps, gates, and rings in a fast-paced display of skill and daring.

With recent warm weather threatening the local snowpack, organizers have been making snow to ensure ideal racing conditions.

Racing begins at 2 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday. Single-day tickets and two-day passes are available, with prices starting at $20 for general admission and stadium chair seating.
