Pendry combines film festival fun with puppy snuggles and mountain luxury

PARK CITY, Utah — During the Sundance Film Festival, Jan. 23-Feb. 2. Pendry Park City is offering guests a variety of happenings and experiences, providing a sanctuary for film buffs, skiers, and those looking for some R&R during the busy festival.

“Whether our guests are here to immerse themselves in independent film, ski the mildly quieter slopes, or enjoy some much-needed relaxation time at Spa Pendry, a full lineup of special events await,” said John Rolfs, Pendry Park City General Manager. “Cozy up with rescue animals, après in style, shop exclusive brands and more to complement an unforgettable stay at Pendry.”

A new partnership with Nuzzles & Co., a local animal rescue organization, will see Pendry donating a portion of each pet stay during the festival to the organization and hosting “Snuggle Lounges” in the hotel lobby. These afternoons, on select dates in January, February, March, and April, will offer animal therapy and adoption opportunities. Walk-ins are welcome.

Après-ski lovers can enjoy “Sundance Series Live Music” at Après Pendry, located at the base of the mountain. January 23 through February 2, from 4-7 p.m., attendees can enjoy live music, cocktails, comfort food and shop pop-ups while catching film screenings and special events.

Sundance Trunk Shows will take place at Shop Pendry Jan. 24-26, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The pop-up will showcase a handpicked selection of fashion, jewelry, and accessories brands, including Team Event and Scents of Wood.

Lastly, guests can unwind at “Pool House Social” at The Pool House Bar & Grill on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 3-6 p.m. Located on the rooftop, the venue offers panoramic mountain views, DJs, a raw bar, cocktails, and more.
