UOP unveils uphill map and new season pass details
The pilot offering will go on sale Dec. 12.
PARK CITY, Utah – The Utah Olympic Park has released more details about their new uphill access season pass at the Spence Eccles Olympic Mountain Center, which will feature three uphill routes and daytime hours for those who like to climb up mountains and rip down them.
A limited number of the passes will be available to purchase on December 12 at 9:00 a.m. The cost will be $234 per person and the season will begin on Jan. 1, 2025 and run through April 1, 2025. Hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
“This pilot program is aimed at providing our community with the opportunity to experience and enjoy this mountain terrain and support the mission of our foundation,” the UOP website reads.
The three different uphill routes are designed to cater to varying levels of uphillers and offer a varying degree of difficulty. The uphill pass will allow skiers to descend in specific areas of the mountain, which are dubbed as Sunny Side, Bear Hollow, The Stash and Lion’s Den. Uphillers may not descend on any of the UOP’s designated training areas.
