PARK CITY, Utah — Park City High School senior Jeremiah Marsh has signed to play golf at Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho.
Marsh was a member of the Miners team that won the 2024 Utah State Championships title at the High School Golf Tournament. He signed his commitment during a ceremony Thursday at Park City High School, attended by the golf coach.
“Your greatest shot is your next one,” Marsh told TownLift, sharing his philosophy on golf and life.
Speaking about his preparedness for collegiate golf, he added, “We had an amazing coaching staff and a very competitive team which always pushed the level of play. It’s been a very supportive program in which I’ve grown a lot.”
Marsh is a longtime community volunteer, and also works at a local ski shop where he applies skills developed growing up in Park City. He has on approximately 10 acres of land out his back yard where he hosts gatherings for friends he’s known since Trailside Elementary School, enjoying winter sports together.
Two other Miners also signed athletic commitments Thursday: Henry Madsen for volleyball at Colorado State University and Luke Castelli for football at Amherst College in Massachusetts.
