Multiple crashes lock up eastbound traffic in Parley’s Canyon

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Two crashes that occurred within minutes of each other at approximately 6:33 a.m. and 6:36 a.m. this morning have closed the left eastbound lanes on I-80 in Parley’s Canyon. The Utah Department of Transportation is warning of heavy delays for those traveling up the canyon toward Park City.

Eyewitnesses report a four-car accident and a separate incident involving two vehicle rollovers farther up the road between exits 132 and 130.

UDOT has not provided an estimated clearance time.
