Get involved: Volunteer and donate with Operation Hope this Christmas
PARK CITY, Utah — The Christian Center of Park City (CCPC) is set to launch its annual “Operation Hope” initiative, aiming to spread holiday cheer to families in Summit and Wasatch counties.
The program encourages community members to donate toys, gift cards, and volunteer time to ensure every family experiences a joyful Christmas.
Operation Hope in Summit County served 829 children the previous year, supported by 294 volunteers who contributed 796 hours. In Wasatch County, the program reached 1,066 children, with 164 volunteers donating 492 hours. The initiative also provides festive meals.
Over 200 volunteers prepared 600 meals for families in both counties. Additionally, the Park City High School National Honor Society collected 70,000 pounds of non-perishable food items, and the Wasatch Community Foundation donated over 700 Christmas food bags to local residents.
Sponsors of Operation Hope include Mattel, the Wasatch Community Foundation, and the Wasatch Parent Network.
CCPC invites community members to participate in Operation Hope to continue the spirit of giving in Summit and Wasatch counties. Registration for Summit County residents began on Oct. 30 and continues at the Christian Center of Park City, 1283 Deer Valley Drive.
