Ecker Hill Timberwolves are now the Miners

PARK CITY, Utah — Ecker Hill Middle School will transition from the Timberwolf mascot to the Miners, matching Park City High School’s identity, following the Park City School District’s Board of Education meeting on Tuesday.

The mascot change, set to coincide with the school’s transition to a 6-8 grade configuration in 2025-2026, emerged from student input and a district realignment process. Students voted between the existing Timberwolf and the new Miners mascot, with district leaders supporting the change to create a more unified school identity.

The proposal includes adopting Park City’s red and white color scheme, replacing the current blue and silver palette.
