Summit County suspends open burn permits yet again
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Citing unseasonably dry and hot weather conditions and poor air quality from the Yellow Lake Fire, the Summit County Fire Warden has suspended the issuance of open burn permits until further notice. The decision comes as the county’s Fire Danger Level remains at “Very High.”
The suspension will be in effect until the Fire Danger Level decreases to at least “Moderate.”
