PARK CITY, Utah – Friends of the Summit Land Conservancy and beer enthusiasts gathered at Top of Main Brewing on Main Street in Park City on Thursday, Oct. 10 for a fund and friend-raising event celebrating community land conservation. They also enjoyed fresh beer brewed using wild hops that was grown on land Summit Land Conservancy has worked to protect.
Summit Land Conservancy also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the event, which has become a local’s favorite.
“This is a really great community event because anybody can come, it’s a very affordable price point, so lovers of open space can come and enjoy this Open Space Ale we’ve made from wild hops grown on land we’ve protected. It’s a great way to support the cause and not have to attend a crazy gala,” Caitlin Willard of the Summit Land Conservancy said.

The Park City non-profit is dedicated to saving the open spaces of Park City and the Wasatch Back. Along with prrotecting and monitoring the community’s investment in local open spaces Summit Land Conservancy is dedicating the next five years of our work toward saving the watersheds and natural landscapes that filter and feed water into the Great Salt Lake. Our goal is the triple the acres we protect across four counties of the Wasatch Back.
