Paramount’s Yellowstone returns November 10 with part two of season five

The network released the official trailer on Tuesday

PARK CITY, Utah – On Tuesday, Paramount released the trailer for Part Two of Season Five of Yellowstone. The hit series will return on Nov. 10, bringing fans back into the high-stakes world of the Dutton family, who manage the largest cattle ranch in the U.S. The show, created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, has become a cultural phenomenon, blending family drama with themes of power and legacy in the American West.

A notable aspect of Yellowstone’s history is its strong connection to Utah. Although much of the show has been filmed in Montana, Park City and Utah Film Studios were key production locations for earlier seasons. The state’s diverse landscapes and supportive film infrastructure made Utah a strategic choice, adding authenticity to the rugged setting of the series. However, in later seasons, filming shifted more prominently to Montana due to more favorable tax incentives.

Although the show brought about $80 million into Utah’s economy over the first three seasons, Montana introduced a $10 million tax credit that made it more attractive for the production. Additionally, Montana’s scenic locations, including Missoula and Darby, contributed to the decision.

If you want to catch up on Yellowstone before the release of Part Two of Season Five, here’s how.
