National Ability Center’s Saluting Our Heroes fundraiser to support veterans and military families
PARK CITY, Utah — The National Ability Center will host its annual Saluting Our Heroes fundraiser on Oct. 24, 2024, bringing together the community to honor veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. The event, which begins at 6:00 p.m.—with a cocktail hour at 5:00 p.m.—will take place at the National Ability Center’s facility in Park City.
The evening will feature keynote speeches and personal stories from veterans, highlighting tales of resilience, leadership, and service. Guests will enjoy a banquet dinner while listening to these accounts from participants in the center’s adaptive recreation and rehabilitation programs.
Funds raised during the event will directly support the National Ability Center’s military programs. These programs focus on providing veterans and their families with adaptive sports, recreation, and community-building opportunities. They are designed to aid in physical and emotional recovery and foster a sense of community among military families.
The event is open to the public, but tickets must be purchased beforehand. Registration will be open until Wednesday, Oct. 23, or when the tickets have sold out. Organizers encourage those interested in sponsoring the event to visit the center’s website for more information.
