Best of Park City
Park City’s favorite places to see fall colors, according to you
PARK CITY, Utah — As the leaves turn, Parkites are heading to their favorite spots for some prime leaf-peeping. Here are the top six recommendations from our TownLift readers:
1. Guardsman Pass: Massive views and bright autumn colors. The scenic drive connects Park City to Midway and Big Cottonwood Canyon.
2. Bloods Lake: Bloods Lake Trail, starting at the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area, offers a scenic hike through meadows, dense aspen groves, and expansive views of the Wasatch Mountains.
3. Armstrong Trail: Ideal for a shaded, forested hike from the main Park City Mountain Resort base. The trail winds uphill through trees before opening up near the King Con chairlift.
4. WOW Trail: Connecting Empire Pass to Midway via singletrack, this trail is for both hikers and bikers.
5. Rob’s Trail: The quintessential (and crowded) Park City fall hiking spot, located in the Sun Peak neighborhood.
6. Glenwood Cemetery: Provides a quieter leaf-peeping experience under a canopy of aspen trees.
