McJames’ Olympic journey reaches new heights in documentary film
ALTA, Utah — On Friday, Jan. 10, the documentary “Trailblazer: One Skier’s Historic Olympic Journey” will screen at Our Lady of the Snows in Alta, Utah. The film offers a look into the inspiring career of Megan McJames, who grew up in Utah and was the first skier to qualify for the Winter Olympic Games after being cut from the U.S. Ski Team.
“Trailblazer” chronicles McJames’ six-year struggle after losing her spot on the U.S. Ski Team, capturing her grit, perseverance, and self-determination. Battling against all odds, McJames returned to competitive skiing and made history with her Olympic qualification.
The event will begin at 6 p.m., and tickets are available for $5. Due to limited seating, attendees must sign up in advance.
