WATCH: Grateful Dead celebrates ‘magical’ Park West Resort show from Sept. 1983
PARK CITY, Utah — The Grateful Dead took a trip down memory lane this week on X (formerly Twitter), giving a shoutout to the two shows the band played in Park City at Park West Resort.
The band shared, “There was something truly magical about seeing the Grateful Dead play up in the mountains. Twice during their touring career, the band performed at Park West Ski Resort in Park City, UT, with the first show taking place on this day in 1983. That night, the band had the crowd begging for ‘one more Labor Day night’ as they warmed the chilly air with their blazing tunes.”
