Alert: Summit County air quality hits RED zone, limit time outdoors

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit County Health has issued a warning that air quality across Summit County is in the red zone on the Air Quality Index due to smoke drifting in from out-of-state fires. They advise all residents to avoid or limit outdoor activities until mid-morning Thursday.

Park City School District has relocated or postponed after school activities.

The US EPA PM2.5 AQI at time of reporting is at 158 placing the air quality in the red or unhealthy zone.
