PARK CITY, Utah — “Yellowstone” actress and equine advocate Dawn Olivieri is slated to attend A Night of Liberty, a fundraiser for the Heber-based equine nonprofit Liberty Sanctuary.
Liberty Sanctuary is dedicated to advocating for equines, rescuing them from slaughter, and giving them new life through adoption.
A Night of Liberty will take place at Promontory Club’s Double Deer ballroom on Aug. 16. Olivieri will attend the event as a special guest, and will be joined by about 200 donors and attendees from the Wasatch Back, according to a press release from Liberty Sanctuary.
“We are so grateful for our horse-loving donors, sponsors and volunteers who support Liberty Sanctuary’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate and advocate for America’s most vulnerable equines,” said Debra West, founder of Liberty Sanctuary. “I am proud of Liberty Sanctuary’s impact since its founding. Realizing its long-term goals remains dependent on the generous outpouring of support we receive throughout the year, and this annual fundraising gala is vital to strengthening our incredible community of support.”
The gala’s theme is “Healing Rituals.” The event will start at 6 p.m. and will feature food and drinks, a silent auction, a “native healing experience,” a pop up shop and live music.
“To highlight Liberty’s restorative work, this year’s gala theme is Healing Rituals and promises to be a memorable evening for everyone involved,” West said. “We have a gorgeous location at Park City’s most coveted private club community, a delightful menu, and participation from an inspiring group of the area’s most incredible people.”
Tickets are priced at $325 per person or $3,000 for a table of ten. Find more information on the event or purchase tickets here.
