Traffic alert: SR-40 shut down after crash, anticipate delays

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has reported that the eastbound lane of US-40 is closed due to a crash and is estimated to reopen at 10 a.m.

The crash was first reported at 7:06 a.m., and UDOT has warned drivers to expect heavy delays and use an alternate route if possible.
