Intoxicated e-bike rider arrested in Summit County

Deputies say the man was riding all over the roadway and into oncoming traffic.
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The Summit County Sheriff’s Office says a man was placed under arrest for riding an e-bike while intoxicated on July 14 around the area of SR-224 and Bear Hollow. Sgt. Felicia Sotelo shared that the incident took place at around 11:00 p.m.
Deputies say the man was riding an e-bike all over the roadway, in front of oncoming traffic, and was almost struck by vehicles multiple times.
The case is now moving into the court system.
