Gracie’s Farm abuzz with Queen Bees Dinner celebrating women in food and agriculture
PARK CITY, Utah — Gracie’s Farm will host the Queen Bees Dinner on Thursday, July 25, celebrating the achievements of women in the fields of food, drink, and farming. This event will feature an all-women cast of guests who have made significant contributions to these traditionally male-dominated industries.
The evening’s culinary experience will be led by Sarah Glover, an internationally recognized chef and author known for her award-winning cookbooks “Wild” and “Wild Child.” Glover’s expertise in sustainable, open-fire cooking has earned her global recognition, including cooking for personalities like Martha Stewart and Gordon Ramsay.
Britt Templin, co-founder of Templin Family Brewing, will be one of the featured beverage purveyors. Along with her husband Kevin, Templin has developed a successful family business in Salt Lake City, crafting high-quality, organic beers.
Natalie Hamilton, a master mixologist and sommelier, will also be part of the event. Hamilton has extensive experience in the beverage industry, from bartending in Denali National Park to managing cocktail programs in Utah. She focuses on the communal and celebratory aspects of wine and spirits.
Barb Phillips, co-founder of Blue Sky Utah and founder of the Saving Gracie Equine Healing Foundation, will be honored for her dedication to animal rescue. Her foundation focuses on sheltering and healing abused and neglected horses, utilizing current advances in equine medical research.
Lynsey Gammon, who leads the farm team at Gracie’s Farm, has transformed overgrazed land into a thriving, biodiverse environment. Her sustainable farming practices produce vegetables, fruits, and flowers for Blue Sky and the community. Gammon also created the Farm Dinner program, connecting the community with the farm through events.
The Queen Bees Dinner will include a welcome reception at 6 p.m., co-hosted by Barb Phillips and Clare Staples of SkyDog Ranch & Sanctuary. The reception will celebrate rescue horses and the women dedicated to their care, including the introduction of newly adopted mustangs. A raffle will be held, with proceeds benefiting animal sanctuaries.
