Caroline Gleich endorsed by Protect Our Winters Action Fund
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Earlier this week, the Protect Our Winters (POW) Action Fund, an organization focused on mobilizing the outdoor recreation industry in support of climate action, announced their endorsement of professional ski mountaineer Caroline Gleich, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Utah.
It is Gleich’s second endorsement by a major environmental organization. Gleich was also recently endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund.
“A true trailblazer, Caroline has long been a champion for our planet, people, and outdoor playgrounds. As a community of avid athletes, artists, and scientists, we understand the urgent need for leaders who connect the climate crisis to practical, responsible solutions,” Erin Sprague, CEO of the POW Action Fund, said.
During her career as a professional athlete, Gleich was a climate advocate for POW.
“I’m proud and honored to be officially endorsed by Protect Our Winters Action Fund. I’ve been involved for 15 years in the work of rallying the outdoor community to preserve our environment and ensure clean air and water for all,” Gleich said. “There is so much at stake in this election, and we can’t afford six more years of inaction from another career politician.”
Gleich’s campaign says these endorsements reinforce her dedication to advocating for protecting our environment and taking real climate action.
