PARK CITY, Utah – The first phase of construction on the Silver Summit Roundabout Project will begin Monday, June 17, Summit County officials said. The new roundabout will be on the west side of the Hwy-40 overpass that connects Silver Creek Village and Promontory to the Trailside and Highland Drive area neighborhoods.
This first stage of work will affect those exiting and entering Hwy-40 Southbound at Exit 2 and traveling the overpass. This is the first step in the project to replace the temporary traffic control lights with a roundabout and improve overall traffic circulation.
“This long-term project has multiple phases to increase connectivity and safety for pedestrians and motorists alike. We will keep you posted throughout its duration,” the Summit County Facebook post said.
