Learn about local bird species and explore 910 Ranch at June 1 event

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The 910 Ranch is home to a variety of birds, and the Lands & Natural Resources Department is hosting a public birding program to help the community learn more about these feathered friends.

The first session of the Birding on the 910 Ranch event will take place on Saturday, June 1, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. This event is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required.

The event will feature a walk of approximately two miles, and bird guides and binoculars will be available to borrow. The summit recommends attending a virtual introduction to birding on May 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., as well.
