Adoptable Pet of the Month: Meet Malibu
Meet Malibu, a joyful and spirited seven-year-old floof who lights up with full-body wiggles and a big smile whenever you enter the room. Nuzzles & Co. took him in after around three weeks at Summit County Animal Control.
Always ready for adventure, Malibu has the heart and energy of a young pup. He’s extremely friendly and loves to go for walks where he can sniff and explore.
Malibu is smart and has foundational training, such as sitting for treats and dialing in perfectly during mealtime. He’s eager to learn new tricks and would thrive in a home that continues his education and shares his enthusiasm for life. Malibu may jump up in excitement, making him an ideal companion for families with older children or active adults who can match his energy.
Approximate age: 7
Loves: Sniff walks, adventure, learning new tricks
Needs to work on: Jumping up in excitement
Breed: Previous owner reported him to be a Great Pyrenees, Beagle, Collie mix
Approximate weight: 56 lbs
Personality: Friendly, joyful, spirited
Malibu was an owner turn-over (OTO), so we do not have much information on his backstory. After being placed in a municipal shelter, surrendered animals often get pulled by rescues (like Nuzzles & Co.), so they do not have a time limit or risk euthanasia.
