‘American Idol’ Top 10 includes Summit County singer, Kaibrienne Richins

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — On the latest episode of “American Idol” Season 22, the Top 12 contestants performed their favorite Billboard #1 hits. On the episode, which aired on Monday, the contestants were mentored by pop star Meghan Trainor. Kabrienne Richins, the 20-year-old singer from Summit County, chose to perform Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball.”

The judges appreciated Kaibrienne’s venture into challenging musical territories, and she earned her spot in the Top 10. The next episode is set for April 28, where Shania Twain will mentor the Top 10 contestants.
