Summit County History Museum calls for objects relating to Rockport Reservoir

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The Summit County History Museum is preparing to launch a new exhibit that will explore the history of Rockport, focusing on the town’s relationship with the construction of the reservoir.

The museum, located at 60 N Main Street in Coalville, is in need of historical objects that can be borrowed for display from June to December.

“Items should represent life in Rockport prior to the dam’s construction. (Any items related to the construction period will also be considered.)” Said a post on the Summit County Facebook page.

The museum has asked that anyone who has an item that can be borrowed email history@summitcounty.org.
