Run-A-Muk to close for spring cleanup April 1-28

PARK CITY, Utah — Run-A-Muk dog park will close for an extensive spring cleanup operation from April 1-28.

According to a Facebook post from Basin Recreation, the closure will help staff to reset the park after a warm winter season.

“The melting snow brings muddy conditions which can lead to long-term soil and plant damage, so closing the park each spring is essential to maintaining the health of Run-A-Muk,” said the Facebook post.

Basin recreation will host three spring cleanup days where locals are invited to volunteer their time to help get the park back in order.

Qubercare Puppy Pawty Bus and Nuzzles and Co. will be present at all three spring cleanup days, and the volunteer who finds the golden poop at each cleanup will win a prize from Qubercare Puppy Pawty Bus.
