Kimball Art Center Soirée blooms with floral inspirations at Pendry April 6
PARK CITY, Utah — The Kimball Art Center is gearing up to throw its third annual Art Soirée on April 6, hosted by Pendry Park City.
The Art Soirée will be an evening packed with dinner, cocktails, live music provided by Jake and the Heist, dancing, and immersive art experiences, as well as live and silent auctions featuring pieces by esteemed local artists.
The gala’s proceeds are directed toward sustaining Kimball Art Center’s exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events, pushing its commitment to making art accessible and fostering a vibrant arts culture within the community.
This year’s Art Soirée draws inspiration from the enchanting floral images of local artist Nancy Rivera. Her series, Impossible Bouquets: After Jan Van Huysum, serves as the theme of the evening, intertwining the event’s design with lush, blooming florals and fruit arrangements that echo the meticulous still life paintings of Dutch master Jan Van Huysum. Rivera’s work, a blend of reality and illusion, past and present, provides a fresh perspective on the beauty of nature through the lens of contemporary art.
Art and fashion will collide for the Soirée’s recommended cocktail attire, offering attendees the opportunity to find themselves part of a living canvas.
The Art Soirée is open to the public. Individual tickets are $350, and tables can be reserved for $3,500. Tickets and tables can be purchased through the Kimball Art Center’s website.
