New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible on Tuesday and Wednesday

PARK CITY, Utah —  There is the chance of rain and snow until Friday this week, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service.

Monday, Feb. 19 (President’s Day) 

A chance of rain and snow is forecasted after 2 p.m. on Monday. Increasing clouds, with a high near 43. South wind 15 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Rain and snow is expected Monday night. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 33. South southwest wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tuesday, Feb. 20

Rain and snow are forecasted on Tuesday, becoming all rain after 11 a.m. High near 41. South wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Rain and snow are expected Tuesday night, becoming all snow after 11 p.m. Low around 32. South wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday, Feb. 21 

Snow is forecasted on Wednesday with a high near 38. South wind around 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. On Wednesday night there is a 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday, Feb. 22

A 40 percent chance of snow is forecasted on Thursday. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Thursday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 18.

Friday, Feb. 23

Friday is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 39. Friday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 20.

Saturday, Feb. 24

Saturday is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Saturday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Sunday, Feb. 25

A chance of rain is forecasted for Sunday. Mostly sunny, with a high near 45.
