Registration open for Park City Speed Skating Club’s late winter skating 101, Club Races on March 2

PARK CITY, Utah — On March 2, from 6-8 p.m. is a Club Race open to figure skaters, hockey players, and short track speed skaters. Drop-in’s welcome to the Park City Ice Arena, BYO skates or they’ll provide them. For more info, email admin@parkCityspeedskate.club.

Also, the Park City Speed Skating Club has opened registration for its late winter learn to speed skate class at the Park City Ice Arena.

The class offers world class coaching from former Olympians and national champions, certified coaches Brian Boudreau and Nathanial Mills, who specializes in Special Olympians.

Classes are held on Mondays from 6:30-7:15 p.m. from March through April 1. The Park City Speed Skating Club will provide skates and helmets.

Olympian Casey Dawson started out in the Park City Speed Skating Club, and there’s even a competitor affiliated with the club at the World Winter Masters Games this season.

The Park City Speed Skating Club is sponsored in part by the Youth Sports Alliance (YSA). Scholarships for the class are available via the Solomon Fund.
