THRIVE program strengthens youth mental health

PARK CITY, Utah — Registration for the free virtual youth well-being skills program, THRIVE, is now open for rising 6th-12th graders (ages 11-18) in Summit and Wasatch Counties. THRIVE’s winter session will run from January 30 – March 15. Those interested can register online.

The Thrive program, launched by Live Like Sam and Webewell, is a preventative mental health initiative that empowers and strengthens youth well-being, to help address the growing nationwide mental health crisis.

Registration for this winter session closes Monday, January 22 at 11:59 PM.

Thrive is a FREE evidence-based program equipping Summit & Wasatch County students in grades 6-12 with vital life skills.

Imagine our youth…

  • Confidently managing stress amidst school pressures and social uncertainties.
  • Nurturing positive relationships built on empathy and effective communication.
  • Making healthy choices for their physical and mental well-being.Thrive empowers them with these skills and more! Students meet for one hour weekly on Zoom, with a cohort of up to ten peers and a Thrive facilitator, to learn, practice, and reflect on valuable well-being skills.

2024 Upcoming Thrive Sessions

WINTER: Week of Jan. 30 – March 15
No cohort meetings March 4-8
Registration closes Jan. 21 @ 11:59 p.m.

SPRING: Week of March 18 – May 3
No cohort meetings April 15-19

Cohort Meeting Times

WINTER Thrive Participants will select a cohort that meets weekly on one of the days/times below:

WINTER 6th-8th Grade Cohorts, Weekly Meetings:
Tuesday 7-8 p.m.
Wednesday 5:30-6:30 p.m. | 6-7 p.m.
Thursday 5:30-6:30 p.m. | 6-7 p.m.
Friday 1:30-2:30 p.m. | 3-4 p.m. | 4-5 p.m.

WINTER 9th-12th Grade Cohorts, Weekly Meetings:
Tuesday 6-7 p.m.
Wednesday 7-8 p.m.
Thursday 7-8 p.m.
Friday 4-5 p.m.
