Snowmobiler killed in accident near Daniels Summit

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A snowmobiler was killed in an accident yesterday near Daniels Summit, according to a statement from Wasatch County Search and Rescue. The snowmobiler has been identified by the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office as Sarah Scott, aged 51.

Initial investigation findings indicate the victim lost control of the snowmobile she was operating, struck a tree and unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.

Wasatch County SAR, fire and law enforcement responded to the scene of the accident at approximately 3 p.m.

Another snowmobiler, identified as Christopher P. Brown, age 44 of Farmington, was killed in a separate accident in Wasatch County earlier this week.
