PARK CITY, Utah — Park City High School football star Blake Tabaracci announced on Saturday, Jan. 27 that he has de-committed from UCLA for the upcoming season, and has reopened his recruitment.
According to 247sports, Tabaracci suffered a leg injury at the end of his senior season, and he was encouraged by Bruin staff to take a grey shirt. A grey shirt is a recruit who is offered a delayed scholarship, postponing enrollment until after the upcoming season.
Tabaracci, then wrote the following in a post on X:

As for what’s next, Tabaracci is keeping it under wraps.
“As of right now I have no statements regarding my decommitment. I’m hoping to have more news in the next few weeks regarding where I will be going in the summer,” Tabaracci said.
