First Lady Jill Biden to visit Park City Tuesday
PARK CITY, Utah – First lady Jill Biden is set to visit Utah on Tuesday, Jan. 16, to visit a school in the Salt Lake City area then travel up to Park City to speak and attend two campaign events for President Biden’s Victory fund.
The exact locations of the campaign events or the school the First lady will be visiting have not yet been released to the public.
She will be attending a school in Salt Lake City with U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Utah’s first lady Abby Cox, in an effort to “celebrate educators and highlight the importance of educator wellness.”
The first lady is expected to land in Salt Lake City Tuesday afternoon and fly out after delivering remarks at the two campaign events in Park City.
The event in Park City is being advertised as a fundraiser for the Biden Victory Fund, the political action committee supporting Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign.
She will then fly to California to continue campaigning for the Biden Victory fund.
President Biden visited Park City in August of 2023 to attend the Biden Victory fund campaign event.
The 2o23 visit was an exclusive event hosted by Kristi and John Cumming, founder of the ski resort company Powdr, and Nancy and Mark Gilbert, the former U.S. ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa.
