Ari Ioannides announces Summit County Council candidacy

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah – Ari Ioannides, the former Park City Institute Executive Director, has formally announced his candidacy for Summit County Council seat C.

Ioannides’s campaign centers on bringing a common-sense Republican voice to the county council. This is characterized by limited government, quality education and representation for all citizens of Summit County.

The former Executive Director of Park City Institute brings a host of experience in leadership and community involvement to the table. Under Ioannides’s direction, the Park City Institute overcame financial setbacks and diversified its programming.

“I am committed to ensuring that Summit County remains a special place to live, work and raise a family,” Ioannides said.

Ioannides, in addition to his position at the Park City Institute, also held the role of Treasurer at the North Summit Fire District. During his tenure, he made contributions that played a role in elevating the North Summit Fire District into a proficient organization adept at promptly addressing community needs.

While at Recycle Utah, Ioannides assumed the role of Board Chair and spearheaded implementing a strategic plan, facilitating the organization’s shift from an advisory board to a governing board structure.

“My experience, coupled with a strong desire to serve our community, drives my candidacy. I believe in bringing people together to find solutions that work for everyone, and I am excited about the opportunity to represent the values and interests of all Summit County residents.”
