16-Year-Old injured after collision with tree on snowmobile

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A 16-year-old girl was hurt after she collided with a tree while on a snowmobile in Lake Creek east of Heber City, Utah.
The accident was reported on Monday at 3:46 p.m. when dispatchers were notified of the crash. Wasatch County Search & Rescue and University of Utah AirMed were dispatched to assist. The girl was taken to the hospital by air ambulance. Rescue operations took approximately 2.5 Hours.
