Vail Resorts’ 23/24 season pass sales surpass 2 million guests
The 4% increase likely brings Vail Resorts’ total number of pre-purchased passes to about 2.4 million.
While the host of CNBC Squawk Box Joe Kernen fumbles his way through an interview with Vail Resorts CEO Kirsten Lynch, she notes that Vail Resorts has over 2 million guests pre-committed in a 23/24 season pass product across the companies 41 ski resorts. This aligns with their recent earnings call report, revealing a 4% increase in pass sales and an 11% rise in sales revenue, following a price increase for pre-sale passes for the 23/24 season.
Vail Daily reports that while specific numbers weren’t given for 2023-24, the 4% increase likely brings Vail Resorts’ total number of pre-purchased passes to about 2.4 million. Last year Vail Resorts announced it had sold 2.3 million passes. Those 2022 numbers represented a 6% increase over 2021, and an 86% increase over 2019 numbers.

Vail Resorts operates 41 ski resorts in the United States, Canada, Australia and Switzerland including Park City Mountain in Park City, Utah.
