PARK CITY, Utah — Winter recreationalists seeking high elevation snow covered trails including cross-country skiers and snowshoers can take advantage of a temporary shuttle service to the Empire Pass Trailhead.

The Transit to Trails program, a partnership with Utah Open Lands, Central Wasatch Commission, Mountain Trails Foundation, and Park City Municipal will return this Thursday – Sunday, Dec. 7-10, and the following week, Dec. 14-17 to provide the free shuttle service.

The transit service is made possible by an anonymous gift to Utah Open Lands, and the shuttle service is dog friendly.

Interested parties can book a free ride on-line here and are advised to show up 5-10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Walk ups are accepted if space is available.
