Truck rolls next to home, driver charged with DUI

The roads were slick at the time of the accident. After rolling, the truck came to rest next to a house. The driver was transported to the Park City Hospital with minor injuries.

PARK CITY, Utah — The driver in a single-vehicle rollover accident was given a citation for driving under the influence on Saturday.

The Park City Fire Department and deputies from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover accident at Matterhorn Drive and Park View Drive at approximately 6 p.m.

According to a statement from the PCFD, the roads were slick at the time of the accident. After rolling, the truck came to rest next to a house. The driver was transported to the Park City Hospital with minor injuries.

According to a shift report from the SCSO, deputies were suspicious that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The driver consented to a blood draw which was performed at the hospital. The driver was then issued a citation for DUI and released.
