Monte was reunited with his family
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Fire Department helped free a tiny Parkite who had become trapped in a heater vent yesterday.
According to a statement from the PCFD, crew members were dispatched on Oct. 30 to a residence to help assist a family in rescuing their cat, Monte, who had been stuck in the heater vent for approximately 15 hours.
Firefighters were able to access the vent from the light fixture below, and manipulated the vent to free Monte and reunite him with his family.
