Brian Head Resort has begun making snow
BRIAN HEAD, Utah — The winter ski season is off to a solid start as snowmaking operations are officially underway at Brian Head Resort. Over the weekend, the mountain operations team seized the opportunity of colder temperatures and fired up the snow guns on the Paradise run on Navajo Mountain. They worked for approximately 36 hours to blow snow and create the makings of a winter wonderland.
Located at 9,600 feet, Brian Head Resort boasts the highest base elevation in Utah.
For the upcoming ski season, the resort has invested $1 million in capital improvements, including significant upgrades to its snowmaking capabilities. These enhancements will ensure that the resort can open early and extend the season.
Brian Head Resort’s 202-2024 ski season is set to kick off on Friday, Nov. 10.
