BalletNEXT brings Best of Swan Lake to Santy Auditorium at Park City Library
PARK CITY, Utah — Join BalletNEXT at the Park City Library’s Santy auditorium for a family friendly performance of the Best of Swan Lake.
This original adaptation of memorable moments from the classic ballet Swan Lake features all new choreography by Michele Wiles, a live performance by the musicians from StringFX and narration by Katrina Kmak, the Park City Children’s Librarian.
Free tickets are available for this unique performance on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. Premium seating is available with a donation.
There will be a question-and-answer session after the performance.
Any group that donates at least $50 will be invited to a pre-performance craft talk at the library.
Mixed Repertory
BalletNEXT will follow this event with the world premier of Between the Two on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., by acclaimed choreographer Brian Reeder and BalletNEXT artistic director Michele Wiles. This piece is part of their mixed repertory featuring three pieces created this year.
Experience dance to the rhythms of Brazilian street music and harp melodies, and glimpse the dynamic interplay between dance and music. The performances will be followed by a Q&A session.
