Tickets on sale now for Miners homecoming football game
PARK CITY, Utah — Tickets are available now for the Park City High School Homecoming varsity boys home football game at Dozier Field on Friday, Sept. 29, against the Jordan Beetdiggers from Sandy. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
The Miners are 6-0 for the season so far. The 2-3 Beetdiggers will want to break their away-game loosing streak of 0-2. Park City has been averaging 34 points per game to Jordan’s 20.
This year the Miners have beat Wasatch, Timpanogas, Dixie, Hillcrest, Murray, and Stansbury. After Homecoming week, they’ll face Tooele and Springville, but first the Miners play away this Friday, Sept. 22, at Cottonwood, who are 0-6.
The PCHS student body will hold the traditional Homecoming pep rally in the run-up to the big game. Their Homecoming Dance will be held this year at Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Village.
Tickets to the Homecoming game may be purchased here for $7. Seniors 62 and older, as well as children 5 and under, get in free.
The Miners Marching Band and Cheer Squad will want to wow the crowd and the Dance Team plans to perform to what historically has been sold-out crowds, as the halftime Jeep Homecoming Royalty Court is announced then drive the perimeter track in their convertibles and sashes.
