Lightning caused fire threatened four homes in the Victory Ranch community

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A fire sparked by lightning threatened four homes in the Victory Ranch community earlier today.

According to Utah Fire Info, Emergency crews were able to quickly contain the blaze on private land dubbed the #EveningStar fire and have stopped forward progress with no damage being reported at this time.

The fire has burned about two acres near the Summit County line and Jordanelle in Wasatch County.

There have been no formal closures or evacuation orders issued as of now. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and await further updates from local authorities. Officials will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.
