Kamas and Francis power outage affecting 2924 customers
KAMAS, Utah – Rocky Mountain Power is reporting a large power outage in Kamas, Utah on Saturday September 9. Crews were notified around 2:20 p.m. and the current estimated time of having power resorted is before 2:30 a.m. on September 10. There are currently 2,922 estimated customers without power. The main traffic light at the intersection of 248 and 32 in Kamas is out along with all the gas station pumps. Power crews have been reported to be working at the sub station on 248 as well as reports of an ambulance and police vehicles in the area.
We are aware of a power outage in Kamas and Francis, UT, affecting 2924 customers and are working to restore services by 02:30 am. We are also aware of an outage affecting 2383 customers in Orem and Fairfield and are estimating restoration at 11:30 pm. pic.twitter.com/wml2nje7Wv
